Working with the Embassy of Switzerland, I had the honor of producing this video to recognize Bertrand Piccard and Andre Borschberg of Solar Impulse for their outstanding aviation achievements. We filmed the interview in front of the original Wright Flyer at the Smithsonian Air and Space museum and the video is a beautiful culmination of working with the Swiss Embassy, the Smithsonian Institution and my passion for aviation.

Smithsonian OFMR – the behind-the-scenes teams
Who is the Smithsonian’s Office of Facilities Management and Reliability or OFMR?
OFMR is responsible for the everyday operations at the Smithsonian’s expansive network of global facilities. It was my pleasure to highlight some of the tremendous responsibilities of this department and the staff that make it all possible. I went for a cinematic approach using a dolly and wide angle lens to convey the scale of the tasks and to give it a more polished (pun intended) look than your typical corporate identity piece… well, because the Smithsonian is far from typical. This project was a rare pleasure to see and experience some of the Smithsonian’s treasures without the general public and I hope you enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Orchid conservation has a new name… and video!
The North American Orchid Conservation Center (NAOCC): Protecting the orchids of North America
Featured on the Smithsonian Magazine website, the video I produced for NAOCC is drawing some well deserved attention. This was an exciting and rewarding project to work on… many thanks to the NAOCC, Smithsonian and US Botanic garden teams!

Industrial Design – The Next Wave
I sat down with Douglas Burton of Apartment Zero to take a look at his recent exhibit at Artisphere and learned a lot about industrial design in the process.
